In summer 2020, we kicked off the first-ever Xilinx Adaptive Computing Challenge! We challenged both individual developers and startups to create a design solution to accelerate workloads using Vitis / Vitis AI. We couldn't be more excited about the amazing submissions for both of our contests!
Xilinx teamed up with Hackster.io, the world's fastest-growing developer community for learning, programming, and building hardware, to challenge independent developers to use Vitis Unified Software Platform, Vitis AI, and one Xilinx hardware platform to create a solution for the real word problems we face today. The top three projects in each category received prizes up to $10,000 (USD)
In the startup design contest, we challenged technology startups, early-stage technology companies, and research institutions to use any hardware platform built around Xilinx’s 28nm/20nm/16nm devices to create an exciting new application designed to show hardware acceleration with programmable logic.
